I note that you have changed your packaging but have you also included in your changed food labelslabels whether or not your frozen food contains gluten??

I agree....once customers realise how misleading the big-boys are, they may assume that everyone is doing the same. That's why legislation needs to protect the proper producers and ensure the food giants fall into line. This is all about choice - if you want to buy British you shouldn't be duped into thinking you are.

All this mis labelling mitigates against the small producer. It is counter productive to the whole local, reduce food miles, sutainability concepts.

Good point. They have also used a picture of rolling country side, this again implies taste and quality, legally they have to define whether this picture has any meaning to the products taste. This law is there to stop (well try and stop) pictures been used to make something look better than it is. Such as a picture of a Chicken outside eating grass, and in fact it is indoor reared. Birds Eye, this is still misleading, sort this out.

Nearly… ‘Traditional’ by the Food Standards Authority requires the word ‘Traditional’ to be only used if the product is true to what a consumer would expect it to be made from and how. ie Traditional Lamb Dinner should include the old style recipe and be made as they did traditionally way. This product is made is a huge factory in Southern Ireland, hardly traditional.

This outrageous packaging, this 'Great British Menu' is made in Southern Ireland with 'imported Chicken'. I think this one of worst examples of misleading packaging I have ever seen. Birds Eye, you are much, much better than this - change it and repent.
