Fresh British Topside/top Rump joint
OK top marks for clarifying that this is British (and Organic), good to know it’s ‘fresh’, which means it has NOT been previously frozen – but, the picture of ‘one of the farmers’ is too vague. Pleasing pictures of farmers are good if it is of the actual farm that produced that product. If Tesco’s will have traceability for each carcass directly to each farm, so why not identify the farmer individually?

Norfolk Outdoor reared Pork Tenderloin
Well done Tesco, this is totally clear about where and what it is. Only weak point is that you have used a picture of one of the farmers, if you are going to use a picture of a producer, the producer pictured should be the producer of that product.
Heniz Farmers Market Three Bean Smaoked Bacon soup

Heniz Farmers Market Three Bean Smaoked Bacon soup
Another ‘Farmers Market’ rip-off from Heniz, trying to look like a regular product from a farmers market, nice little reassuring hand drawing of a pig on the front, I wonder which country supplied this Bacon, certainly not mentioned on the packaging, I wonder why?
Heinz Farmers Market Chicken and Country Vegetable soup

Heniz Farmers Market Chicken and Country Vegetable soup
This ‘Farmers Market’ rip-off is pretending to have rural connections. Complete with mocked up, market style writing, the final insult is ‘country’ vegetables, from where else did they think these vegetables came from? Further more, which ‘country’ did they find these vegetables? They decline to tell us this on the packaging…

Baxter's Wiltshire ham & Golden Sweetcorn Chowder soup
The ‘Witshire ham’ ingredient is in-fact ‘Ham, Wiltshire cured’, many consumers are confused when place names are used in describing a product. Some consumer could even think that this ham is from Wiltshire, which it is not.

Baxter's Healthy Tomato Soup
How can they say it is healthy? I am sure it probably a health meal to eat. To make a claim about health, however, they need to reference it against another product that is directly comparable to this product and explain why they think they is more healthy.

Tesco's Finest British Goose Fat Roasted Potatoes
Tesco’s Finest British Goose Fat Potatoes:
I am sure these are British potatoes, but is the Goose Fat? Most commercially available goose fat comes from Europe, I have asked Tesco’s to confirm that is is genuinely British Goose fat, if it is well done, if not shame on you Mr Tesco’s.
Tesco’s Farmhouse mixed vegetables

Tesco's Farmhouse mixed vegetables
Tesco’s Farmhouse mixed vegetables, what the devil does that mean – ‘Farmhouse’ are you kidding Mr Tesco? Are you suggesting that these vegetables have been prepared in a ‘Farmhouse’, fairly unlikely I would suggest. This is simply a case of Tesco’s trying to look more country-fied when really these are just regular vegetables from a farm. Come on Tesco’s you can do better than this!
Wall’s Micro Sausage Classic Pork

Walls Micro sausages
Wall’s Micro sausages, the problem with this packaging, for me, is the word CLASSIC. What does that mean? Classic what? It’s a bit like the words traditional or natural, all have an implied meaning without saying anything specific.
