Tesco have failed to use the Quality Standard Mark or the Red Tractor logo which guarentees the traceability, the British flag is not enough!!

I personally believe this is a good label because it identifies that the pork is outdoor reared in Norfolk, Tesco are telling us a story about this product through the packaging. To me this is an honest label as it clearly identifies what and where the product is from and is not trying to be anything it’s not. However, as a comment above states, the small print on the back of the packaging states that the pigs are born outside then moved into barns, which would make this label misleading. We now need to look into this further and will make the necessary changes, this shows the power of what we can learn from comments.

My only issue with this packaging is that people may get the impression the pork is from pigs that are outdoors all the time - when in fact if you read the samll print on the back it states that they are born outside and then moved into barns.

Nearly great Tesco's, very clear about how and where this product is produced. The picture, sadly represents a group of farmers not the actual farmer.
